The Election Commission of India has prepared Braille ballot papers to assist visually impaired individuals in participating in the election process and casting their votes. Voters who do not know the Braille script have the facility to take an assistant with them to vote. India is conducting polls to elect members of its lower house or the Lok Sabha. Elections are being held in seven phases, with five phases already concluded. The next two rounds will take place on May 25th and June 1st. Results are scheduled to be announced on June 4th.
