In this episode, I talk about the history of how the Juno-106 came into being, go over its features and functionality, and identify some of the common problems found in these old synths. Then I show what my plans are to restore it, and demonstrate the parts I will use to make it better than new!

Time is not kind to old synthesizers, and the Juno-106 is no exception. In this video series, I take an old Juno-106 and restore it to better-than-new condition, with new chips and hardware, and then add all kinds of new functionality to bring it into the 21st century - while retaining the important qualities that make a Juno-106 so special.
