But instead of a quiet life, she's faced with debts and visits from her ex-husband Graham and his lawyer, who are trying to take the land away. The farm is the only thing the family has left, and Alex decides to fight for it at any cost.

Emma learns to find joy even in difficult circumstances: she meets their neighbors, adopts a cute puppy, helps her mother set up their new life, and curiously delves into all the secrets the farm holds. Emma becomes the main incentive for Alex not to give up: after all, her daughter's future depends on her determination.

As the farm gradually comes back to life, friends and allies appear by their side: caring neighbor Marge, loyal puppy Pixie, old flame Sebastian, and childhood friend Cassandra. Together, they restore buildings and fight injustice. But with each victory, Alex faces new mysteries on her path: a strange black car outside the house, a weird key with the initials "V.
