For accordion and string orchestra

Written for accordion and string orchestra, Bubble Wand explores the emanation of sound from a central source (the solo accordion), radiating outward through the string quartet and ultimately enveloping the full orchestra. The process of sound generation mirrors the delicate formation of soap bubbles, emerging from one another and reflecting light in an ever-changing spectrum of colors. Bubble Wand was composed at the initiative of Nikola Peković, to whom it is dedicated. (2022)
