Following the Boeing 777-f from MSC Air Cargo, two Boeing 747s arrived in Basel. Both aircraft were supposed to leave Basel around midday, but the Silk Way B747-8F had a hydraulic problem that had to be repaired first. Despite not reaching full takeoff weight (Cargolux 345t and Silk Way 405t), they were two wonderful departures.
As the day unintentionally extended, we were fortunate enough to witness the MD-87 N805ML during a noisy taxi test. The former VP-CTF had been parked in Basel since 2018 and is now scheduled to be brought to the USA.
