The Innovating for Net Zero Buildings project was launched by Energy Systems Catapult in response to the growing imperative of decarbonising buildings to achieve Net Zero targets. This collaborative initiative involves UK innovators and partners from Singapore, with funding support from the UK Government.
The primary goal of the project is to expedite the development and implementation of solutions and technologies that will facilitate the transition to Net Zero buildings in Singapore.
To achieve this, the Innovator Challenge Call was organised, which attracted four SME innovators with relevant solutions for Net Zero Buildings in Singapore. Virtual meetings were held initially to establish a strong foundation for productive partnerships. Subsequently, in June 2023, three of the four innovators travelled to Singapore to engage with local partners and participate in various joint events that showcased the collective endeavours of UK and Singapore innovators.
