VR Exploder's Club is a group of educators that explore the Metaverse together with a set of criteria in hand for analyzing other Social Immersive Platforms. Based on years of exploration, our panel will try to answer the question: Why should we care about other platforms? Additional focus will be on:
1. Why do you need to go explore other worlds?
2. Where is the metaverse headed?
3. What is the benefit of these platforms for education?
4. What virtual worlds are young people using and how do we use that to motivate instructors to deliver education on them.
5. Under what circumstances do we use different platforms for education.
