J-Springs Dairy is a small, family-operated dairy farm in continuous operation since 1913—earning its status as a proud Century Farm. It began when Otto Springstroh purchased the land, and the tradition continued in 1965 when John and Judy Springstroh became the next generation to carry the farm forward. After John’s sudden passing in 1980, Judy courageously ran the farm on her own while raising three children.

Today, the farm is run by Judy Springstroh, along with her daughters Amber Springstroh and Tami, Tami’s husband Jay Ziegler, and their adult children, Sam and Gracie. In 2024, they took another step into the future by building a new robotic freestall barn and installing three Lely milking robots. The family now milks 175 cows, raises youngstock, and farms 330 acres of cropland.
