Nikau Palm Seeds Update Sprouting After 3 Months.. I planted these seeds around 3 months ago and a few are starting to sprout now. I soaked them for a day or so in water before planting them and also scratched a little of the outer layer from the seed. This tray hasn't been covered and I keep the water moist watering it every few days.
