Описание: Wayne Stone Logging, Inc., of Sandy, Ore., is one of four forest operators honored with a Merit Award in 2020 by the Northwest Oregon Regional Forest Practices Committees. The four were chosen for going above and beyond requirements of the Oregon Forest Practices Act while harvesting timber or doing other forestry work. Stone was recognized for a complex logging job in steep terrain in the Coast Range. He protected buffers to a popular streamside trail and fish-bearing stream while minimizing soil disturbance on the ravine slopes.
