Highlights from the 4th day on the Fuessen to Lake Garda bike tour across the Alps! The best way to describe this almost entirely downhill day is pure fun. Following a scenic cycle along two lakes, with a few short uphills, the the trail points downhill, presenting cyclists with views of mountains, castles, charming villages, and a thrilling ride. This is almost a rest day, with only 43 km. (27 miles) to cycle, and only 103 m. (338 ft.) of elevation gain. The downhill is entirely on paved paths (some farming-related traffic, but very little), with a couple short stretches of gravel trail.
