In part 2 of our adventure we hike through Dales Gorge to the iconic Fern Pool and cascading Fortescue Falls. The morning light reveals patterns across ancient red rock walls.

Then we drive across the park to Buddha’s Overnight Camp, a peaceful free-camp tucked away in the Pilbara landscape. We get up before dawn to see Hamersley Gorge, home to some of the most dramatic geological formations in Western Australia.

Surrounded by towering rock walls, we swim the deep, clear waters, before relaxing in the Spa Pool — a natural rock pool so perfect it has to be seen to be believed.
This is easily one of the most tranquil and magical places we’ve ever visited.
