A very clean, “twangy”, “glassy” SOLO TONE, similar to Mark Knopfler’s (Dire Straits). A Fender type sound with much treble and some reverb. Try pickup postions 2 or 4 on a Strat.

NOTES:
Audio is a direct recorded Strat with Fender Tex-Mex Pickups. The solo sounds accurate with the Neck+Middle pickups. But Middle+Bridge is another great tone!

My goal is not to use the exact simulations of effects, amps etc. that the artist would use, but to get closest to the tone (even using the effects in an unusual way).
