On December 28th 2016, I packed my car and left Canada on a climbing road trip to visit some of the best bouldering destinations the US has to offer. My fourth stop was Bishop, California.
Although Bishop is known for its impressive highballs and big granite "eggs" in the Buttermilks, I decided to mostly climb in the tablelands this year. I also got to climb once in the Druid Stones (wow! what a hike!). I met up with great friends from San Francisco and a friend from back home also drove down from Squamish to meet up with me.
