ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପାଇଁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା । ରିଟର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଅଫିସର ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଲାଗି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ମାଗିଲେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନ । ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସମେତ ୧୦ ରାଜ୍ୟ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନଙ୍କ ଚିଠି... ଏପ୍ରିଲରେ ୧୦ ରାଜ୍ୟର ୩୭ ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ଆସନ ଖାଲି ହେଉଛି । ଜାତୀୟ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସମେତ ୧୦ ରାଜ୍ୟଗୁଡିକର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ରିଟର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଅଫିସର, ସହାୟକ ରିଟର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଅଫିସର, ଭୋଟ୍ ଗ୍ରହଣ ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ବାଲଟ୍‌ ବକ୍ସର ପ୍ରକାର ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ପଠାଇବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

The Rajya Sabha election process has officially begun.The Election Commission of India (ECI) has written to the Chief Electoral Officers of 10 states, including Odisha, seeking proposals for: Appointment of Returning Officers (RO), Assistant Returning Officers (ARO), Selection of Polling Stations, Details of Ballot Box types. A total of 37 Rajya Sabha seats will fall vacant in April across 10 states. The ECI has instructed officials to submit proposals promptly so that the election schedule can be finalized.
