[For the record, I did some good amount of pummeling myself until getting to the last 2 guys which I didn't understand the game-play design decisions there .. ?!]

I think this game inspired itself from Super-Punchout from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System from the 90's, but it has a lot to be desired remaining, in my opinion. Too few animation frames, you get touched 3 times by the opponent - you're done with, [very] unbalanced fighters pulling off game-breaking moves (last 2 I could not pass no matter what I tried), unusual keyboard inputs, limited in-ring movement, very minimal sound effects and under-developed graphics. The best thing about this game was the characters' wacky and zany intros which I thought were pretty well designed and hilarious in setting up the upcoming boxing match mood.

Although I haven't taken a good long look at Super Punchout (although I may want to in the near future) - the game that this one inspires itself most from - if this game gets all the above things fixed, it may be a good and worthy fun contender for modern audiences. These were my impressions with it in order to have fun with this game. But if you are willing to bypass these, you may have fun with it if you're okay with having a big long struggle as well when you are going and playing through it lol
