In this advanced lesson we break down one of the cleanest ways to trade the US session: The New York reversal trade.
When New York opens, you really only have two valid options:
✅ continuation of the London move, or
✅ a full reversal from level 3.
In this video, I walk you step-by-step through the New York reversal setup, including:
The exact time window: first 3 hours of NY (8–11 AM EST)
Why you need intraday level 3 (three drops or three rises in a day)
How to use ADR being met as a trigger for reversal
What “EMAs spread out” actually means and how to use them as targets
The reversal patterns to look for (M/W, second-leg RT, second-leg star)
How to use the TDI as confluence when price is overextended
Why the 50 EMA is always the main target (and when price stretches to the 200)
Then we go into multiple chart examples (GBP pairs, AUD pairs, EJ and more) so you can actually see the pattern repeat day after day.
If you trade the New York session and you’re tired of random entries, build a simple checklist around this video and backtest it on your favorite USD pairs.
Not financial advice. Trade your own plan and manage your own risk.
