The chief of Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation says the investigation is just beginning into what are believed to be the unmarked burial sites of children's remains at a former residential school. Archivists are scouring old school records and, today, the chief called on the Pope to give a public apology for the Catholic Church's role in the residential school system.
