Credit Suisse takeover: UBS Chairman says deal 'represents enormous opportunities'

Описание: Colm Kelleher, chairman of UBS Group, said the takeover of Credit Suisse "represents enormous opportunities", adding that his bank's long-term aim would be to downsize Credit Suisse's investment banking business and align it with the "conservative culture" of UBS.

He added: "We have agreed a framework of support with the Swiss regulators which ensures a successful integration in the best interests of Switzerland and protects our shareholders.

"The combination of the two banks further strengthens UBS' position as a leading global wealth manager."
