Stamina Templar has some interesting new options this patch, but the standard static rotation hasn't changed all that much.

For example, Radiant Oppression is now an incredibly powerful execute in short fights, but sustaining it for more than a few casts is tough. Boosting Magicka sustain with food, potions or Light Armor are all possible, but this only makes Stamina sustain even worse. Adding more Magicka DOTs (e.g. Solar Barrage, Mystic Orb) creates a similar issue, at least on the dummy. Sustain is always easier with good supports.

SUSTAIN

When practising on the dummy, it helps to cast Restoring Focus and use an addon to unslot it before you start (so long as you won't need it again). If Stamina sustain is still rough, recast Focus from the back bar when needed and/or slot Repentance on the front bar.

Try to avoid taking synergies while spamming Jabs, since this usually prevents your next Light Attack from going off. If you're almost out of resources and absolutely need a synergy, then at least make sure you won't lose your Kinras/AY stacks, or just wait a couple of beats before weaving into your next ability. It's a very annoying aspect of this class, especially when sustain is so poor.

It's worth spending some time getting sustain and weaving to work properly for you, since they're the tricky things here. Thankfully the rotation itself is pretty easy (see the mini-guide linked above).

CARVE

The changes to Carve make it much easier to sustain. Once it's at 3 stacks you can recast it every other sequence alongside Spear. Don't worry about the fact that you're recasting it 6s early - it may not be optimal, but because everyone's weaving speed inevitably drops when playing Templar it'll end up being less than 6s. The same goes for Stampede.

EXECUTE

If you're not using Radiant Oppression, there's not much of an execute to speak of. All the DOTs except Ritual have an upfront hit, so it doesn't matter all that much. Ditch Ritual and Carve in the last 10s, and everything else in the last few seconds, then spam Jabs until the target is dead. I actually lost a little DPS in this video by messing this up and recasting DOTs when I shouldn't have.
