National Cancer Centre doubles capacity with new 24-storey building

Cancer patients will have access to a more streamlined care experience at the new National Cancer Centre Singapore. The 24-storey building is five times larger than its old premises. Its increased clinic capacity will also allow it to treat more patients, as one in four Singaporeans are likely to develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. It is also more convenient for patients as the centre provides the full suite of care -- from prevention to survivorship and palliative care. The centre, which has around 1,300 staff, sees close to 160,000 patients each year.
