A few days ago, I posted a Reel that showed how we store the tops of our designer trees that will be re-installed next year. Suffice to say, there were some heated opinions 💁 😂

For the majority of you who thought this JLC signature storage solution was *THE* most brilliant hack of the season, here are the answers to the questions you asked most:

IT’S A WARDROBE BOX - Head to your nearest moving/storage solution/box store and you’ll find ‘em. I nestle a smaller box at the bottom to serve as a cozy resting spot so she stays in alignment while she’s getting her beauty sleep.

IT’S A PRELIT TREE - This pro tip is made even easier because these trees are pre-lit - I don’t have to remove lights before stashing her pretty top away for next season. If your tree isn’t pre-lit you can intentionally light the top and end the top strand where the top comes off.

NOW, for the commenters who thought that I ruined future Christmas by doing the same design the following year:

If you want to recreate your trees every year, I love that for you. As for JLC, installing designer trees this way allows for me to spend time and resources adding new, stunning elements to my professional installations. The faster she goes up, the more space is left in the budget for something new and beautiful. And you know that “new and beautiful” is my jam!
