★ 4K 🇩🇪 Gelsenkirchen Horst Nord - Bismarck, Germany cab ride [07.2022] Führerstandsmitfahrt

Описание: Being a train driver who mainly drives in Switzerland where everything is kept spick and span, I really appreciate a line that is overgrown with plantlife and where the tracks that were decommissioned decades ago are still sitting there in the same place, telling the story of what once was.

We find ourselves in western Germany, not far from the Dutch and Belgian borders in a city with a little over 200'000 inhabitants know as Gelsenkirchen. There are definitely many signs of the Germany industry left to be seen and railways criss crossing the landscape connecting them logistically.

Our job today is to pull two consists from a somewhat forsaken freight yard to the neighbouring station, where they can continue with electric traction to their destination. We have some low profile cars with us for transporting ballast for a construction project in southwestern Germany.
