The 100 Days of School Song is a fun celebration song but is also very educational! This is a great math song for kids and a great numbers song because it educates on all the best things about the number 100. In additional to reminding everyone how to count to one hundred, The 100 Song video also mentions:

• When counting up, 100 is the first number with three digits
• Group Counting: 100 can be made up of 10 groups of 10 or 5 groups of 20
• 100 is the Roman Number C
• 100 years is called a Century
• A percent is an amount (also called a fraction) that is out of 100
• 1 dollar equals 100 cents
• 1 euro equals 100 cents
• 1 pound equals 100 pence (p)

The last verse is for more advanced learners:
• Scientific Notation / Standard Form: 100 is the same as 10 squared
• In the Metric System 100 centimeters equals 1 metre
• Temperature: Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius (C)
• The first 9 Prime Numbers add up to 100
• The Kármán line: Many people consider 100km from the earth's surface to be the start of outer space!
