Project Hero Honor Rides are popular single-day charity cycling events. In Las Vegas, Honor Ride happens annually on Saturday before Veteran's Day. Proceeds and donations goes to rehabilitation for wounded veterans as well as first responders. Project Hero is now also building adaptive bikes for injured veterans.
The Vegas Honor Rides starts at Clark County Government Center, down south through Art District and then the Las Vegas Strip. Police and fire department vehicles would escort the cyclists through the strip. After that, cyclists would follow the arrows on the road to finish the rest of the route. There are 3 routes, 20 miles, 42 miles, and 57 miles.
Everyone is welcome to sign up to ride or sponsor cyclists for Honor Rides.
