Описание: Video showing the requirements involved in retro fitting anchorage points for child safety seats in dual cab utes in Australia, and the extension belts used in my vehicle, along with legal issues and requirements of Transport and Main Roads Queensland. The oval shaped ring that is mounted at the top of the backrest is important as it disperses the energy created in the event of a crash (according to people who certified the fittings)..... Even if you fit the anchor points yourself it has to be certified and approved, and a plate will be attached to the firewall....... The Police and vehicle inspectors are fully aware of when the vehicle manufacturers installed the holes for the anchorages, so best not to try and trick them as it will cost you and you also have to consider the well being of your children.
