In November 2025, the Google Apps Summit 2025 was held in Ho Chi Minh City, placing Vietnam at the heart of the APAC\apps ecosystem. For the first time, Google unified Playtime, Think Apps, and Apps Summit into a single event, centered on three core themes: AI, app growth, and ad quality.
Beyond the introduction of new AI tools for developers and insights into scaling apps in an increasingly competitive market, the summit underscored Vietnam’s growing role in the regional app landscape. Initiatives such as the Google Play Apps Accelerator further highlighted Google’s long-term commitment to supporting and strengthening the local ecosystem.
