The stability of Conjugated Systems depends on the following parameters:
(i) Extent of Resonance: Greater the extent of resonance, the greater the stability of the conjugated system
(ii) Quality of Resonance: Resonating structures having a negative charge on a more electronegative atom is more stable
(iii) Hyperconjugation effect: Higher the number of a-H; the higher the stability
(iv) Aromaticity: Stability order: Aromatic, Non-aromatic, Antiaromatic
(v) Ring Strain: Lesser the ring strain, the greater the stability
