A place of historical importance, undefeated for 8 years, still standing majestically with age old structural wonders - Gingee Fort is a must visit place during your Tiruvannamalai visit.
There are two forts.
1) Rajagiri Fort aka Raja Kottai ( Covered in this vlog ) is the bigger one and takes at least four hours to explore completely.

Entry Fees - Rs 25
Closing time to start the trek - 3:00 PM
Closing time at the top of the fort - 4:00 PM
Moderate trek and well laid path is there till the top.
2) Krishnagiri Fort aka Rani Kottai ( Covered in Part 2 ) is the smaller one and can be explored in two hours.
