This video shows how to remove and repair the CD unit in a Saab 9-3 (model year 2004). The repair is focused on a problem where the CDs do no load, or are stuck and do not eject from the CD player. You could also use this video to get to the point of disassembly required to replace a failed laser (since we have to take most of the unit apart).
This CD drive repair may also apply to other car manufacturers that use the CD mechanism made by Clarion. The Clarion CD drive is also used in some models of VW, Nissan, Honda, Suzuki, Subaru etc.
