People are in a hurry. When landing on a webpage they scan in a 'z' pattern to decide if this is a place worth their time. Your job... prove you can solve their problem within seconds or they'll abandon your website and go to the next.

This is how the 'z' pattern works and how you can get the most out of it.

Start top left where you tell people who you are.

Next their eyes move to the right. Don't clutter this area with navigation. You want to take them directly to your call to action.

They will then scan down and to the left where you want to tell them in short, easy to read language what you do, how you do it, who you do it for and how to get stareted.

Lastly they will scan to the right where we want to reinforce the value we provide.

Today's simple tip:
Rework your hero section and optimize it for 'z' pattern scanning.
