Описание: #WildBucovina For the first time in Bucovina region/Romania, the Wildlife Livestreams project, realized by the Wild Bucovina Association,
was born from the desire to present to all wildlife lovers, live images from the wildness of Bucovina.

Who are we? WILD BUCOVINA Association is a non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical and independent organization, with public benefit, with the aim of protecting the environment(see http://wildbucovina.ro/biography/).

Purchase plan:

1. PTZ video camera (360 degree rotation), complete kit with accessories for the deer and capercaille rutting season.
The kit includes: video camera, memory card, camcorder mount for shaft mounting, 4G router, special antennas for 4G signal
amplification, unlimited internet subscription, router cables, video camera cables, 2 solar panels with supports, battery
with metal box , voltage regulator, battery-panel cables.

The deer roaring season or deer wedding is the behavior manifested by the adult specimens of carpathian deer which,
at the time of the autumn equinox, form their own harem of females and fight for territories and for the conquest of females
with which they will later mate. The live observations are spectacular, so we want to bring in your homes unique images,
from places searched over the years, to see the beauty of this species of mammals.

The roosting of the mountain capercaille is also a fascinating spectacle in which the majestic princes of the old coniferous forests,
roost, fight for their territory and for mating with the proud mountain hens. The images will be transmitted from special
roosting places of capercaillies, deeply hidden in the wildness of the mountains of Bukovina.

2. Fixed video camera for wildlife feeder. Last winter we had a video camera borrowed to monitor wildlife. In this place, which is located at the edge of the forest we have installed a deer feeder and several bird feeders. At these feeders last winter came these species: female deer, male deer, rabbits, badgers and to the birds came birds of 7 different species, daily. For more details from last season you have the link from the feeders here:    • LA HRĂNITOAREA SĂLBĂTICIUNILOR - WILDLIFE ...   These feeders, in order to function, must first be fed with complementary food: hay, corn kernels, apples, sunflower seeds, salt. We will feed the feeders daily, so we will have a serious schedule.

3. Desktop PC for the following mandatory needs: live streaming, installation of the camera program through which
functions will be accessed and for online maneuvering of the cameras, installation and use of the video editing
program for processing recorded data. In addition we need HDD image storage source and UPS for backup power.

Conclusion: These projects can be done with your support because we do not have funding from elsewhere.

The objectives of the live broadcasts on Youtube will be: Monitoring the nest of the Mountain Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), the rutting season of the carpathian deer, the roosting of the capercaillies and observations on the wildlife feeder. You have permanent live access and you can observe the behavioral beauty of some species that are rare and difficult to observe in the wild. The donation contributes strictly to the implementation of the procurement plan, the installation and performance of the live broadcast with everything needed to support the online stream.

Community members are involved by financially supporting the project, personally monitoring the behavior of the species mentioned above
and discussing the various steps on the forum specifically for these species.
Deadlines:
Purchase of equipment – no later than September 10
Installation of equipment in the area – no later than September 15
Installation of equipment for bird feeders – beginning of the cold season 2021-2022
Installation of equipment in the wheel of mountain roosters – March 2022
