We Turned the BOOST UP....... and something was WRONG! Carolina Dragway, EPIC Dragracing

First round of All Steel All Glass and we had to race one of the fastest cars in the field.

We tried turning the car up by adding 15 pounds of dome pressure, but something strange happened… the car only picked up 1 pound of boost.

That usually means back pressure — and we may have found the limit of our 85mm turbo setup.

We still made the pass and had a great reaction time, but Derek’s car was flying.

At the same time Carl’s car started losing boost and we eventually discovered the wastegate diaphragms were blown, which explains the boost drop.

Now I want to know what YOU guys think:

👉 Is the turbo too small?
👉 Is it a back pressure issue?
👉 Or something else?
