Arvo Pärt is one of the most outstanding composers of our time, whose work has had a lasting impact on the perception and understanding of music. In 1976, he developed an unmistakable musical language that he called Tintinnabuli. This innovative form of expression has not only inspired a wide audience but also continues to shape his artistic work to this day. Pärt does not follow a traditional school of composition and does not teach, yet his music has had a profound influence on the contemporary music scene.
This special concert features piano music that reflects the diversity and depth of Pärt’s oeuvre. The Latvian-born pianist Georgijs Osokins performs Pari Intervallo, delivering with exceptional sensitivity and control the work's beauty and sense of calm.
