This is Noise Box #9, soon to be available on Etsy. This box is made in solid Ash. Main features include a vintage reverb tank on top, a piano spring kalimba, as well as various household items, springs, and sound makers. There are 3 piezo contact mics installed inside the box, and there is also a 1/4" output for the reverb tank.
*Please note, the reverb tank's input is not hooked up - this is on purpose. The tank should be played as a noise source itself, no input needed.
I particularly like the DEEP resonant tones from the large spring, and the large diameter piano string. Just add reverb/delay/effects to taste.
In the demo reel, I used my modular synth rig for a little reverb and delay, and halfway through the reel I add some Beads from mutable instruments.
