ཨོཾ་རྫ་ཀི་ལྷ་མོ་མ་ཆེན་གྱི་འཕྲུལ་མ།

oṃ za kyi lha mo ma chen gyi ’phrul ma

Om, Zashi Lhamo, Great Mother, magical emanation!

ལམ་དང་ཚོང་གཉིས་བར་དུ་སྲུང་དུ་ཞུགས།

lam dang tshong gnyis bar du srung du zhugs

Guard the road and the marketplace — take your seat as our protector.

མིག་གཉིས་མེ་འབར་དྲག་པའི་གཉན་པ་སྟོན།

mig gnyis me ’bar drag pa’i gnyan pa ston

With two eyes blazing like fire, display your fierce power.

ནོར་གྱི་རིན་ཆེན་ཆོས་སྐོར་ཐོར་པ་སྟོད།

nor gyi rin chen chos skor ’thor pa stod

Scatter jewels of Dharma and prosperity in every direction.

བདག་དང་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ནོར་བདེ།

bdag dang sems can thams cad kyi nor bde

Grant wealth and happiness to myself and all beings.

འདོད་ངན་རླུང་ནས་མི་འབྱོན་དབང་དཔལ་འབར་སྟོན།

’dod ngan rlung nas mi ’byon dpal ’bar ston

Keep evil desire and misfortune from arising; let noble fortune blaze forth.

གོང་ནས་འཁྲུལ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སེལ་དུ་གསོལ།

gong nas ’khrul pa thams cad sel du gsol

From the heights, I supplicate you: dispel all illusion and confusion.

རྫ་ཀི་ལྷ་མོ་སྲུང་དུ་ཞུགས་སོ་ཧཱ།

zha kyi lha mo srung du zhugs so ha

O Zashi Lhamo, stand as my protector — Soha!

བདག་གིས་རྫ་ཀི་ལྷ་མོ་ལ་བསྒྲུབས་པ་འདི་ལས།

bdag gis zha kyi lha mo la bsgrubs pa ’di las

By this act of praise and offering to Zashi Lhamo,

སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ནོར་དང་འཁྲུལ་པ་ལས་བྲལ་ཤོག།

sems can thams cad nor dang ’khrul pa las bral shog

May all beings be freed from poverty and illusion.

ནོར་དང་དགའ་བའི་བྱིན་རླབས་རྒྱས་པར་ཤོག།

nor dang dga’ ba’i byin rlabs rgyas par shog

May the blessings of wealth and joy increase.

སྲུང་བའི་དགེ་བ་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་གྲུབ་པར་ཤོག།

srung ba’i dge ba shes rab kyi grub par shog

May protection become the accomplishment of wisdom.

This prayer to Zashi Lhamo was composed by me, Guru Suryagrdha, to help beings who break Samaya all the time and bring them to the loving embrace of the Protectoress without guilt.
