The EMD F59PH with EMD F125 Spirit Physics dropped into it shoving a 10 car set of Metrolink Bombardier BiLevels. Here we perform a speed test along the New Jersey Racetrack portion of the Northeast Corridor. Maximum balancing speed attained with HEP load taken into consideration is just around 85 mph. This is assuming ~3530 hp at the wheels after HEP. Not bad for a 4700 hp locomotive.
