Manipur ethnic tensions: At least ten armed militants were killed in Manipur’s Jiribam district after a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) post came under attack on Monday (November 11, 2024), police of the northeastern Indian state said. Over 200 people have been killed while over 60,000 are left displaced in the state due to ethnic violence that broke out in the state in May 2023.
