Sangeetha Sornalingam, the wife of Tamil actor-politician Vijay, has filed a fresh petition in the Chengalpattu District Court seeking legal permission to stay in their matrimonial residence located in Neelankarai, Chennai.
The latest plea comes days after Sangeetha filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and emotional distress. In the new application, she has requested the court to allow her to continue living in the Neelankarai house until the divorce proceedings are completed, or to direct Vijay to provide equivalent alternative accommodation.
