How to (Not) Use the Spanish Progressive Aspect: Our Last 5 Tenses

Описание: This is the last video in my Spanish Conjugation Series, and I introduce the final 5 tenses you'll ever need to learn: the Progressive Tenses. This video is like the last one in the series, in that I'm actually introducing an Aspect, and you're not learning any new tenses at all, but rather using the tenses I've already taught you in a new way, to describe ongoing actions at a certain point in time.

The videos in this series are designed to be watched in order, because we're building on our knowledge from the previous tenses, so I definitely recommend watching my conjugation playlist in order to get the maximum benefit. That said, today's video teaches everything you need to know in order to successfully use (and not use) the Perfect Aspect.

I introduce to you the Present Participle, also called the Gerund, which is at the heart of the Progressive Aspect. From there, I give you 2 very important warnings on when not to use the Progressive Aspect, and explain how Object Pronouns are specially handled with our Gerund. I then go into how to conjugate "Estar" into the 5 Simple Tenses that are used with the Gerund to form our Progressive Tenses.

After that, I share with you exciting new opportunities I'm developing to help you reach your fluency goals much faster than from my videos alone. Like always, I give you a chance to practice what you've learned and include some mini-lessons within!
