In a recent incident in Dahod district, Gujarat, a 35-year-old woman was subjected to a brutal assault by her in-laws, who accused her of having an extramarital affair. The woman was dragged, paraded half-naked, and beaten in Dhalsimal village on January 28, 2025.
Her husband is currently imprisoned for murder. Following the attack, the Gujarat Police arrested 12 individuals connected to the crime, most of whom are relatives of the woman's husband.
While the police have taken significant steps, they have set up a fruit shop for the victim or installed CCTV cameras to ensure her safety.
