STORYLINE:
A polling station in Lisbon decided to allow children to have their say in their own vote on Sunday.

As voters across the country cast their ballots to decide who would be the next president, youngsters were asked perhaps an easier task – who is your favorite cartoon character?

Dozens of children took part in the vote and the results will be published over the next days on the local council's official page.

Among those up to be chosen were some of the most famous cartoon characters of all time including Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

They were joined by some recent favorites such as Elsa from the movie “Frozen” and Builderman from the game Roblox.
