My Journey as an Adult Ballerina

I thought it would be good to do a bit of a recap on my adult ballet journey since the last time I filmed about this, a lot has changed!

Starting ballet as an adult has changed my life. I truly believe that we create opportunities for ourselves and that we are in charge of our own journey. It is absolutely never too late to start ballet and ballet is for everybody.

When we start ballet as an adult, our bodies are already formed from our experiences. As an adult ballet dancer myself, I understand what it is like to work with what you have in order to progress in ballet. This is why I’ve sought further education and am proudly Barre Body, Progressing Ballet Technique and Progressing Contemporary Technique certified. Unfortunately, adult ballet dancers don’t have the same opportunities as those who start as a child, so I’m here to change this and make ballet accessible for all!
