Blessings! I’ve been getting questions on how we put the strings on our tambourines. Detailed instructions are below. Hope it helps! :)

Tambourine size: 10”

The strings can be purchased at any crafts store
My strings are 45” long. Length may need to be adjusted based on the tambourine’s size
Cut the amount of strings you’d like. Keep in mind, the more strings you put, the heavier it’ll be.
The rings on my tambourine actually fell off and they tend to fall off as time passes by. I inserted the strings where they fell off. You can certainly add the strings even with the rings on. :)
Fold the strings vertically and insert on both sides. Pull until both sides are even.
Part the strings by side
Take the string at the bottom and tie 2x. Tip: before you tie make sure to pull the strings on each side to ensure they’re tight.
Continue to tie the rest of the strings (1x) in order
Take the last string and bring it around and tie it behind the strings. Bring it around one more time and tie it once more. The last tie will be 2x.
Cut the strings to your liking
Tip: put nail polish on the ends to avoid the tip of the strings from looking messy.
