U.S. and European officials made progress on security guarantees for Ukraine during a Paris meeting, though concrete commitments remain vague. The Coalition of the Willing issued a joint declaration proposing U.S. monitoring of a ceasefire and a European multinational force; however, only France and the U.K. have signed a declaration of intent to deploy troops in Ukraine if a peace deal is reached with Russia. President Zelenskyy continued his diplomatic efforts after Paris, visiting Cyprus on Wednesday to secure EU support and discuss Ukraine's membership prospects. Meanwhile, Russia continued attacking Ukrainian cities with drones, causing civilian casualties and infrastructure damage. Ukraine, in its turn, continues its drone strikes on Russian oil depots, last night in Belgorod.
