We visited Elon Musk’s new city of Starbase, TX, the home of SpaceX, to see what it was like. Our journey began in the neighboring city of Brownsville, where many SpaceX workers are moving and Elon Musk is investing. Many of the locals are concerned about SpaceX moving next door, though the growth it’s injected into the area is undeniable.

Our journey — which culminated with an encounter with Starbase security — surprised us at almost every turn.
