relaxation, intonation, endurance, patience and simply stating the melody. Notice that I don't take the horn off my face for 5 minutes focusing on the bed and corners of the embouchure. Not the easiest thing to do for me dB but I work at it. Try it out or put something like this in your gig setlist. It's a good way to build strength and flow in a musical way. "Time for Romance" will be a video series arranged into a playlist of me dB playing ballads I love. The melody is the lead priority. I want to present the melody with true sincerity and beauty.
