Dr Donald Mowlds in Newport Beach, CA is currently enrolling participants in a clinical research study focused on treating Capsular Contracture.
Capsular contracture, a complication that can occur in patients following breast implant augmentation, can be a source of discomfort and frustration. As a part of the normal healing process, the body creates a layer of scar tissue, or “capsule” around the implant. This capsule can become tight or thickened, causing the breast to feel firm, appear distorted or even become painful.
