A couple of videos ago, I had someone ask about the open series, more or less boiling it down to "I don't have a setup, I can't race". This is the same "idea" many fixed drivers have. "I don't have a setup", "Fast guys don't post their setups", "I don't know how to make a setup", "I don't have time" and so on and so forth. The goal of this video and the results video to follow aim to disprove those thoughts as 100% false. I decided to make my weekly setup in 15 minutes, live, as I read off everything.

Usually I would take about 30 minutes, but just to drive it home I cut that in half. I don't have any particular skill set, I don't have any super secret black magic suspension knowledge - but I do have the ability to read the instructions. It really is that simple to alter a setup, and make yourself faster quicker with more ease. At the end of the day, the "ideas" above are nothing more than excuses and lame cop outs.

Same driver. Same track. Same car. Only thing that changes is the setup. What will the results show, will the fixed indeed be noncompetitive? Will the super mega fast guy have the super mega fast "god mode" setup? Or does simple preference trump all?

I know. Most of the open racers know. Yet for some, they don't know. Well, seeing is believing, right?
