In the "Joker's Asylum 2: Killer Croc One-Shot," Killer Croc, whose real name is Waylon Jones, is interviewed by an optimistic interviewer, hoping to rehabilitate him. Croc shares his troubled past, including growing up ugly with an alcoholic aunt after his mother's death. He escapes captivity and finds refuge with a couple, Edgar and Juliette, who treat him well but turn him into a criminal. After Edgar's betrayal, Croc seeks revenge, killing everyone involved. Ultimately, Croc feels purposeless and longs to return to prison, feeling that the outside world is not for him.
